Go to Settings → Export Backup. Baseline saves a JSON file to your Files app that you can store anywhere — iCloud Drive, local storage, or share to another device. To restore, use Settings → Import Backup.

Not automatically — Baseline is offline-first and stores all data locally by design. To move to a new device, export a backup on the old device and import it on the new one.

A Synergy is a defined relationship between two of your habits. You can mark that one habit supports another (e.g. morning run supports meditation), conflicts with it (e.g. late alcohol conflicts with early sleep), or requires it. Baseline surfaces these connections in your Reviews tab so you can see which habits are driving or undermining each other.

These are phases in the habit lifecycle. A new habit starts in Forming. Once your completion rate is consistently strong over time (default threshold: 66 days), it graduates to Established, then Maintained. Stop-type habits can reach Completed. If your rate drops below the relapse threshold, the habit resets to Forming.

Future Self is a speculative projection of your life. When you request one, the app sends anonymized stats (streaks, phases, and completion rates) to our secure proxy, which asks Claude to write a projection of where you'll be in 3 months, 1 year, or 3 years. We never send your notes or identity, and the AI doesn't store your data.

No. The AI only sees bare statistics like your completion rates, streaks, and habit phases. Your written notes and mood logs are strictly local and never sent anywhere.

Open a Stack from the Stacks tab, then tap Publish. Baseline uploads only the template schema — habit names, emojis, and synergy relationships — to a shared link. The recipient imports the template; your personal tracking history is never included. Published links expire after 90 days. To remove a link early, tap Remove Link in the stack detail.

Baseline is free. AI features (Future Self, Extract Stack, Goal Stack) are included with a monthly usage limit. No subscription or payment is required.

Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete All Data. This is irreversible — export a backup first if you want to keep anything.

Force-quit the app and reopen it. If the issue persists, try restarting your device. If it still crashes, use the contact form below with your iOS version, device model, and a brief description of what you were doing when it crashed.
