By downloading or using Baseline, you agree to these terms.
By downloading, installing, or using the Baseline app or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or the minimum digital consent age in your jurisdiction, if higher). By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
Subject to these terms, Baseline Team grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Baseline app on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial purposes only.

The Future Self, Extract Stack, and Goal Stack features send anonymised habit data to Anthropic's Claude API via a Cloudflare Worker proxy operated by Baseline Team. These features are always opt-in and never triggered automatically. For full details of what data is sent, see the Privacy Policy.
AI-generated outputs are speculative and for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional health, medical, financial, or life advice. Projections reflect statistical patterns in your habits and should not be relied upon as predictions of future outcomes. Baseline Team is not responsible for any decisions you make based on AI-generated output.
For the Extract Stack feature, you are responsible for any text or PDF content you paste or upload. You must not submit content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights or violates applicable law.
The Life Audit feature generates a monthly narrative from your on-device data. It runs entirely on your device and does not use AI or send any data to a server.
If you choose to publish a Habit Stack, only template data is stored (habit names, emojis, synergy types, stack name, description, and the creator name you provide). Your personal tracking history is never included. Published stacks expire automatically after 90 days. You can delete a published link at any time from within the app.
You are responsible for any content you publish. You must not publish stacks that contain offensive, illegal, or harmful content. Baseline Team reserves the right to remove published stacks that violate these terms without notice.
The Baseline app, website, branding, and user interface are the intellectual property of Baseline Team. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
Your habit data is yours. Because all personal tracking data is stored locally on your device, you retain full ownership and control of it at all times.
Baseline Team may revoke your licence to use the Service immediately and without notice if you violate these terms. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 15 survive termination.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Baseline Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Baseline Team from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or any content you publish via the Service.
Your use of the Service is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. This includes data submitted via the contact form, which is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
Baseline Team may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Where practicable, material changes will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Baseline Team regarding the Service.
The Baseline app is distributed via the Apple App Store. This licence is granted by Baseline Team, not by Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation in respect of the app. Baseline Team, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) claims that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims under consumer protection or similar laws. Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or discharging any third-party intellectual property infringement claim relating to the app. Your use of the app is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
